Click "Mark paid": the payment flips, the invoice status stays its own.

· Where it gets hard ·

Billing is what slips silently. An uncollected deposit, a forgotten balance, a reminder never sent. While you handle this week's wedding, the previous one's money doesn't come in.

« The Jour J balance was never collected. » You learn this two weeks after the wedding. The couple didn't reply to your reminder, you were on the next wedding.

· Concretely ·

Four gestures, the money tracks itself.

01

The schedule starts from a model

You enter the total and pick a split — 30/70, 50/50, 30/35/35, four equal payments — or your own. Each line becomes an installment tracked individually, up to fifty per file. A split that suits you saves as a studio template and replays on the next file.

02

Two axes, never merged

Invoicing moves along Upcoming → To invoice → Invoiced; payment stays a separate yes/no. A line settled before it was invoiced still reads correctly: the app doesn't collapse the two axes to make its own life easier.

03

One tap moves the line on

On the wedding card, every installment is a pill: one tap moves it to the next step, and the label says which one before you touch it. On the per-installment view, one control per axis — including "Mark paid".

04

Overdue, said plainly

An invoiced line past its due date flips to "Overdue", with the day count. A line still to invoice past its date says so too — that one is waiting on you. And "collected / left to collect" recomputes in front of you.

· Use case · ROI ·

Across twelve weddings per year, here's what integrated billing prevents.

50
Installments per file
From deposit to balance, as many payments as the contract calls for.
2
Axes tracked apart
Invoicing (upcoming · to invoice · invoiced) and payment (paid or not), never merged.
0
Parallel spreadsheet
The schedule lives in the file, and accounting reads its revenue from it with no re-entry.
